Our Wedding

Our story feels like it was pulled from a movie script. We met in the middle of the pandemic in 2021 on a commercial shoot—I was the producer and Andrew was the director, specializing in virtual reality. Our first "date," in a way, was driving all over Los Angeles for two days in a classic red convertible for the shoot. The connection was immediate, and as soon as the shoot wrapped, he asked me out.There was just one catch: he was living in New York City, and I had just moved to LA from there myself. But the distance didn't stand a chance. After six months of coast-to-coast flights and growing closer with every trip, Andrew made the move to LA.Two years of building a life and making memories together led us to a new adventure on a beach in Vietnam, where he asked me to marry him. We've been engaged for nearly two years now, and after going back and forth on whether to elope or have a full celebration, we've decided we want to share our commitment with all the people we love in a proper wedding.Our relationship is a perfect blend of planning and spontaneity. While we're both great at organizing (it comes with our jobs!), our favorite moments are often unplanned. When we aren't working, you can usually find us on a spontaneous road trip, out on the water fishing, or on a dedicated hunt for the best German-style lager in the country. At home, our world revolves around our beloved cat, Dega (short for Bodega).

While we did not get a chance to visit the zoo, we have been told by literally everyone that it is a fantastic way to spend your day. The Living Desert is home to over 500 animals representing over 150 species. You probably only need 2 to 3 hours here.

If you are outdoors people, then this is a must. We would suggest going earlier in the day to avoid the heat and feeling rushed for any evening plans. You truly could spend a whole day at the park, but 4 to 5 hours is enough time to see everything. We would encourage you to make a few stops and even climb on some of the rocks! Bring Water!
